A bit of a fixer-upper

Nyt on hyyyyvin peruskynnet. Kirkkaammilla väreillä skittlettestä saisi ehkä näyttävämmän, mutta kokeiltuani nopeasti kirkasta pinkkiä kynsille päädyin taas tummempiin sävyihin. Onneksi Zoyan Sansa on todella komea lakka, melkein tasan vuosi sitten I Love Me -messuilta hankittu tapaus. Parina aikaisempana päivänä on pitänyt kynnet lakata, mutta ideoiden puutteessa suunnitelma on jäänyt toteuttamatta. Nyt idea oli vähän turhankin tavallinen.

Leimauskuvio oli ensimmäistä kertaa käytössä ja vaikka kuvio tyylikäs onkin, niin tietysti leimat sitten perinteisesti levisivät päällyslakan myötä. Born Pretty Storelta testiin saatu BP-L004 -leimauslaatta on täynnä paljon käyttökelpoisia kuvioita. Mitään erityistä teemaa tuossa laatassa ei ole, vaan laatta on erittäin yleispätevä. Tällaisia laattoja saisi nykyään markkinoille tulla vähän enemmänkin. Itse harvemmin ainakaan tarvitsen 12 erilaista leimauskuvaa karkeista. Kukat, geometria ja erilaiset koukerokuviot ovat tosin poikkeus, niitä tarvitsen aina lisää.

Nämä kynnet eivät nyt kyllä saa aikaan kovin positiivisia fiiliksiä, mutta toisaalta eivät myöskään täysin negatiivisia. Kynnet ovat niin perussettiä, että tällaisten tekemistä voisi yrittää välttää ja mielummin lakata sitten vaikka vain yksivärisiksi. Sansa olisi itsekseen ollut myös kovin näyttävä tapaus. Pienellä yrittämisellä näistäkin kynsistä olisi saanut paljon mielenkiintoisemmat!

These nails are sooooo basic. With brighter colors this skittlette would be more showy, but after I quickly tried bright pink on my nails, I decided to go with darker colors - again. Luckily Zoya's Sansa is extremely beautiful polish, bought almost exactly one year ago from the I Love Me -expo. I was supposed to do my nails few days earlier, but because I didn't have any ideas I left them without polish. And when I finally did my nails the idea was even a bit too ordinary.

I used this stamping image for the first time and even though the image is stylish, of course my top coat did spread them. This plate BP-L004 I've gotten for review from Born Pretty Store, is filled with universal images. It doesn't have any specific theme. I think that there should be more plates like this in the market these days. I rarely need 12 different kinds of images of candy. Flowers, geometry and curls are a whole different story, those I need more all the time.

These nails don't make me feel especially positive vibes, but on the other hand not negative either. These nails are so basic, that I could try to avoid making nails like these and rather paint my nails with one color instead. Sansa would have been a nice look by itself. With a little bit of effort these nails would have been a whole lot interesting. Are these nails too basic?
