Muuttopäivä

Muuttopäiväksi piti laittaa muuttoa edeltävänä iltana nopeasti kynnet, jotta kynnet olisivat vähän vahvemmat laatikkoja kanniskellessa. Tästä syystä kynsistä ei ole myöskään mitään hyviä kuvia, ainoastaan päivänvalossa seinää vasten napattuja pikakuvia. Nyt on uudessa kodissa jo kynsihommat setvittyinä eli ainoastaan seuraavaa lakkailukertaa odotellessa..

Koska kynsien ei tarvinnut olla kovinkaan erikoiset, tyydyin valitsemaan vähän vähemmän käytetyt lakan ja leimaamaan jokaiselle kynnelle saman kuvan. Vaikka kynsiä lakatessa ulkona pyrytti lunta (!), nappasin silti hololakan eli Color Clubin Eternal Beautyn käyttöön. Muistin heti kuinka mukavaa on CC:n hololakoilla lakkailu. Ne peittävät kahdella kerroksella tarpeeksi, kimaltavat jo lampun valossa ja kuivuvat nopeasti. Omissa kokoelmissa näitä lakkoja on vasta neljä vaikka ne ovatkin roikkuneet Wishlistillä jo vuosia. Niiden ostaminen tuntuu aina vaan vähän tyhmältä kun miettii, että kuinka lyhyt käyttöaika niillä Suomessa oikein vuodessa on tarjolla. Viime kesänä ei hololakoista paljon tarvinnut haaveilla.

Leimauslaatta on laatikossa jo pitkään lojunut Born Pretty Storen BP-L014. Laatassa on monenlaisia isoja kukkamaisia kuvioita, joista voi rajata käyttöön haluamansa kohdan. Kuten on ollut tapana, tämäkin laatta leimaa todella nätisti. Harmi, että BPS ei ole hetkeen julkaissut uusia laattoja, voisin haluta taas päivittää varastoja..Toivottavasti nyt keväällä olisi jo tulossa uusia!

Leimat eivät menneet jokaisessa kynnessä täsmälleen samaan kohtaan, mutta näissä kynsissä sillä ei ole kyllä mitään väliä. Käytin kuitenkin hommaa helpottaakseni Konadin kaksipäistä leimasinta, jotta kohdistaminen oli vähän yksinkertaisempaa. Kynnet eivät ole omaa tyyliäni, eivät erikoiset tai erityisen onnistuneet, mutta muuttokynsiksi ihan tarpeeksi kivat.

For the moving day I needed to polish my nails to get them a little stronger for lifting all the boxes. This is why I don't have any good pictures of these nails. Only these with daylight and wall as a background. Now in the new home I have all nail related things all set up, so only thing I need is new set of nail art..

Since my nails didn't need to be anything special, I went with a little less used nail polish and stamped the same image on every nail. Even though it was snowing (!) when I did these nails, I still took the holopolish, Color Club's Eternal Beauty in use. I instantly remembered how nice it is to use these CC's holo polishes. They are opaque with two layers, sparkle under almost every light and dry fast. I only have four polishes from CC's holocollections, even though they have been in my Wishlist for years. Buying them always seems so stupid since the time I could be really using them here in Finland is so short. Last summer you didn't need to dream about holopolishes at all.

The stamping plate in use has been in my Helmer for quite some time, it's Born Pretty Store's BP-L014. It has many big floral -like images where you can limit the right shape and size for you. This plate is no expection what it comes to the way it stamps. It's really good quality and easy to use. It's a shame that BPS hasn't published new stamping plates in a while, I could want to update my supplies..Hopefully there will be new one coming out this spring!

The stamping images didn't go exactly to the spots I'd wanted, but it doesn't matter at all with these nails. I did use Konad's two headed stamper to make focusing the images easier. These nails aren't really my style, they're not special or particularly great, but for moving day they're okay. Have you gotten holopolishes out already?
